Up to 60 minutes, no card needed. Upload your recording, generate the documents and download them before you decide. One trial per account; if the file is longer, the first 60 minutes are transcribed.
Prices exclude tax. The applicable tax (VAT or local tax) is added at checkout, depending on where you're billed. Buying as a business? Enter your VAT number at checkout: the invoice is issued in your company's name and, for businesses with a valid EU VAT number, without VAT under the reverse charge where applicable.
Your recordings, in good hands
Audio deleted within 7 days
The original file is deleted once transcription finishes and, if anything goes wrong, an automatic rule removes it within 7 days at the latest. Your transcript and documents stay in your account until you delete them.
Data processing agreement
When you sign up you accept our GDPR Article 28 data processing agreement. Read it before you pay.
Your audio trains no AI
Neither we nor our providers use your recordings to train models.
Data stored in the EU
Files, transcripts and documents are stored on Google Cloud in the European Union. Any steps that run outside the EU carry GDPR safeguards and are detailed in the agreement.

Frequently asked questions
What exactly do I get?
The full transcript, with every turn attributed to its speaker and timestamped, plus the documents you generate with the templates: interview by speaker, multi-interview synthesis, meeting minutes or your own format. Everything can be downloaded as Word (DOCX) or copied.
How is this different from pasting the transcript into an AI chatbot?
The work is already done, and it's done the same way every time: speakers separated and named, verbatim quotes with timestamps, your format saved in “My template”, projects with a glossary, and a synthesis across several interviews at once. On top of that, the audio is deleted within 7 days and we sign a data processing agreement with you.
How does the free trial work?
Create your account, upload a recording of up to 60 minutes and use every template on it, no card needed. If the file is longer, the first 60 minutes are transcribed. There's one trial per account. Your trial documents stay in your account even if you don't subscribe.
What languages does it understand?
It's designed for in-person recordings with several people talking in a room. It works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and other languages, and you choose the language your document is written in.
How well does it tell speakers apart?
It separates voices automatically. With a lot of background noise or people talking over each other it can get confused, which is why you can rename and merge speakers, and the change is applied to the transcript and every document.
What happens to my audio and my data?
The original audio is deleted once transcription finishes and within 7 days at the latest. Your transcript and documents stay in your account until you delete them, and you can delete your whole account from Settings. The details, including the providers involved, are in the data processing agreement.
Do I have to tell the people I record?
You decide what you record, and it's up to you to inform participants and, where the law requires it, get their consent. The usual practice is to mention it at the start of the interview or meeting, so it's on the recording.
Can I use it for clinical or therapy sessions, or anything with health data?
No. HiText Business isn't designed for health data or other special categories of data under the GDPR, and the agreement rules out that use.
Can I pay as a business and get an invoice?
Yes. At checkout you can enter your VAT number and your company details, and your invoices are available in your account.
How do I cancel?
From your account, without having to email anyone. There's no lock-in: when you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.
Can I use it on my phone? Does it include the HiText app?
HiText Business is used on the web, from your computer. It includes HiText Pro: with the same account you also get Pro in the HiText app for iPhone and iPad, and on the HiText web app.
