Prices exclude tax. The applicable tax (VAT or local tax) is added at checkout, depending on where you're billed. Buying as a business? Enter your VAT number at checkout: the invoice is issued in your company's name and, for businesses with a valid EU VAT number, without VAT under the reverse charge where applicable.
The original file is deleted once transcription finishes and, if anything goes wrong, an automatic rule removes it within 7 days at the latest. Your transcript and documents stay in your account until you delete them.

Files, transcripts and documents are stored on Google Cloud in the European Union. Any steps that run outside the EU carry GDPR safeguards and are detailed in the agreement.

The full transcript, with every turn attributed to its speaker and timestamped, plus the documents you generate with the templates: interview by speaker, multi-interview synthesis, meeting minutes or your own format. Everything can be downloaded as Word (DOCX) or copied.
The work is already done, and it's done the same way every time: speakers separated and named, verbatim quotes with timestamps, your format saved in “My template”, projects with a glossary, and a synthesis across several interviews at once. On top of that, the audio is deleted within 7 days and we sign a data processing agreement with you.

It's designed for in-person recordings with several people talking in a room. It works in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and other languages, and you choose the language your document is written in.
It separates voices automatically. With a lot of background noise or people talking over each other it can get confused, which is why you can rename and merge speakers, and the change is applied to the transcript and every document.
The original audio is deleted once transcription finishes and within 7 days at the latest. Your transcript and documents stay in your account until you delete them, and you can delete your whole account from Settings. The details, including the providers involved, are in the data processing agreement.
You decide what you record, and it's up to you to inform participants and, where the law requires it, get their consent. The usual practice is to mention it at the start of the interview or meeting, so it's on the recording.
No. HiText Business isn't designed for health data or other special categories of data under the GDPR, and the agreement rules out that use.
Yes. At checkout you can enter your VAT number and your company details, and your invoices are available in your account.
